"The Graduate is a college dorm-themed hotel, excellently located on the Iowa City ped mall, close to U of I campus, bars, restaurants, etc. Parking in IC is expensive so their parking arrangement at $20/day is a good deal. The hotel’s cafe is convenient and roomy, with tables with plug-ins for devices. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed, blackout curtains, lots of device charging ports and both a desk and side chairs. The bathroom was the only minus, needing an updated shower enclosure."
"This hotel was absolutely perfect for me. I stayed one night while travelling from Minneapolis to St. Louis. This is a fairly large property and is a haven for visitors and families to the nearby Hospital. My check in (a little early) was a breeze and I got settled in a room equipped with a hot tub, king bed, a larger TV and renovated bathroom. The hotel offers an included "supper" - on my visit was tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches with a side salad, along with cookies and lemonade for dessert. The most comfortable meal imaginable - suitable for adults and kids. The menu is listed for the week (Mo-Th), so longer term guests know what to expect. After dinner, I tried the hot tub in my room and it was nice and relaxing. Made for a great sleep on a most comfortable bed. Good, deep sleep - I woke up truly refreshed. The hotel also offers an included breakfast with several options including cereal, eggs and sausages, waffles, yogurt, fruit and two whiz bang coffee machines that make all types of specialty coffees. The hotel generally was a peaceful atmosphere and the hallways and nearby rooms were quiet. I honestly couldn't imagine how it could have been any better. The price was incredibly reasonable for what was provided. They even have a free shuttle to/from the hospital (which I didn't use) but appreciated the thoughtfulness of having it available for families and visitors."
"We had 4 rooms for various family members over the 4th of July - we already have our reservation in for next year!
Jessica at the front desk was delightful - hope she's there next year!"
"I was very happy with my stay at the Trail Inn in Amana. The location is perfect. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is walkable.
My room was incredibly clean. The bed was quite comfortable. The air conditioner was top-notch! It actually went down to 60 degrees!!!! Because the heat index was over 100, I definitely used it.
Would absolutely stay here again!"
