Affordable and good location

For sure a great location for the price! The host was very friendly and gave us recommendations of places to see and where to go. Bedroom and bathroom were overall clean, yet not super comfortable.The hotel's condition could be better. It was a bit run down and the air conditioner was that old that the temperature couldn't be adjusted. I'd still recommend to stay at this hotel if you don't mind some minor imperfections.

Excellent host and location

The host was excellent and supported not only our stay in Syracuse, but also our future travels around Sicily. He assisted with phone calls and reservations and took the time to suggest cut highlights. The room was large and very clean and there were no challenges with WiFi, hot water or cleanliness. Breakfast was served in a pleasant room. We lived the location just outside of Ortigia, so we had local food choices and it is a very quick walk to all regional buses.

Ottimo bed & breakfast a due passi da Ortigia. Facilità di parcheggio nelle vie limitrofe. Non abbiamo usufruito della colazione in quanto la zona è piena di Bar. Antonio è stato un host molto gentile e puntuale. Assolutamente consigliato.

Decent apartment

For our four night visit to Siracusa we stayed at Caravaggio’s bed and breakfast (although we only went for the bed option). Because the room was within an apartment it was necessary to call the proprietor shortly before arriving to ensure that he could be there to welcome us. In addition to showing us where every thing was, he was also able to offer advice regarding buses, beaches, events and good places to eat etc.. The room was spacious with a good sized bathroom. The beds were firm but comfortable. In addition to a television there was also a good air-conditioning unit which proved to be essential during our stay in July when the midday temperatures outside were reaching 33c. There was also the use of a fridge just outside our room for our personal use. Unfortunately there was no tea or coffee making facilities available so I would suggest a travel kettle, if like us you value a early morning cuppa. The proprietor’s wife cleaned and tidied the room each day and changed the towels every two days. Being located just a short walk from the Island of Ortigia proved a blessing because we ended up spending most of our time there.

bien que l'établissement soit idéalement placé, l'ensemble nous a paru un peu vieillot et sombre, les prestations inexistantes. lors de notre sélection, nous avions précisé parking et petit-déjeuner, or ces 2 éléments étaient exclus. le rapport qualité-prix étaient inférieur par rapport aux autres établissements fréquentés pendant notre séjour. par manque de parking, notre voiture de location a été accrochée, résultats: frais supplémentaire au près de l'agence de location.

B&B a due passi da Ortigia, il cuore di Siracusa. Camera e bagno spaziosi e puliti, wi-fi libero, parcheggi pubblici abbastanza comodi. All’accoglienza ci hanno fornito una mappa della città suggerendoci luoghi da visitare e dove mangiare. A chi lo sceglie d’estate consigliamo di dormire con finestra chiusa e condizionatore acceso per via delle troppe zanzare!

Simple but great!

Great location- This B&B was located just a couple blocks from the bridge to Ortigia. Rooms were large and very clean but lacked character. Breakfast was limited, but reasonably priced, convenient, and good quality. The best part was the owner who was personable and helpful. He was kind enough to offer to recommend and call a local vineyard to book a wine tour and lunch for us. Usually this needs to be done at least 2 days in advance, but he was able to set it up the morning g of the tour. Great customer service!
