The room was very small. No closet just a small bar to hang clothes. Small fridge was on the floor beneath the clothes bar. Very large tv sat on a console table taking up a lot of space. No carpet- only wood flooring which made sounds more prevalent. The up side was the breakfast buffet and hot drinks were very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Mattress was very uncomfortable. Over all I rate this with a 3.

Great location. Clean. Staff was helpful. Parking was great. Breakfast was your basic buffet, cereal, fake eggs, and gray sausage patties. Forget it if you’re trying to eat clean.

The room we stayed in wasn’t all that clean, but the hotel was booked for a concert so unfortunately we got a last minute room! It was moreso the shower had grime in the corners and the hand soap was one pump away from empty also no bags for the trash cans. We did ask the front desk and they were helpful!

The staff at this hotel are amazing. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and have everything you need. This was my second stay at this location and this time I brought my dog. She stole the show and came to be a staff favorite in the 2 and a half days we were there. Best pet friendly hotel I’ve stayed in by far.

TRU by Hilton DAY ONE: 16-21 July 2026 Made reservations for 7 days. As an HHonors member at the time of reservation, I was unaware of my reservation number. However, I was instructed to inform the staff upon check-in. On check-in, they informed me that it had to be done during the initial booking. It was the start of my frustration. Of the 7 days we were there (2 of the 7 days there was no housekeeping), there was no housekeeping and I had to ask for essentials, ie; towels, Kleenex, empty the waste basket, toilet paper….. We went to the lobby to receive some of those items. This discrepancy started on the first day. Our room had hard floors which were dirty and gritty with bare feet. No curtains, just a light shade, which didn’t keep out the light. Loud air conditioning unit. In-room phone wasn’t working because the line kept disconnecting. Very weak water pressure for the shower. We were told they would fix it, but they never did. The shower wall had rust leaking evident by the heavy rust stain. Bottom line: when you pay almost $300 a night, you expect some quality “bare” essentials. Disappointed is an understatement.

Clean room and easy free parking. Comfortable mod lobby area and breakfast spot. Ok breakfast if you want something basic. Small but adequate gym area and nice indoor basketball court. Very comfortable stay. This is a great go to place for us when visiting our son at Syracuse University.
