"We were at this location for a family reunion, and we had a great time. The front desk staff and special events staff were wonderful, friendly and very helpful. The reception dinner food was excellent and plentiful.
The negatives come more in relation to the room. We had an accessible room with a roll-in shower (apparently, they only have one in the whole hotel, so we had to wait for it to be ready when we checked in, but the staff was very apologetic about this and gave us free beverages while we waited so that wasn't a major inconvenience). But, this room's bathroom had MUCH to be desired for making it useful for guests. First of all, the shower head in the bathroom wouldn't stay put on the device it is located on, and ended up falling multiple times during showers trying to get it adjusted. It was nice that a non-slip matt was provided though. The biggest complaints are about how low the toilet is (definitely not higher like needed for people with mobility issues getting up and down), and the sink - why on earth there would be no counter area around it or next to it for putting things like toiletry kits, toothbrushes and water cups is beyond us!!! We've stayed in many accessible rooms, and never has there been no surface to put anything on. We ended up having to bring a chair in from the desk so we had somewhere to put things. It wouldn't be difficult to purchase a small table to put things on next to the sink. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time with our family!"
