"This was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I’ve had. The biggest issue is that the hotel is extremely difficult to find. It’s located inside a casino with a hidden entrance, and there is little to no clear signage to guide you. After walking around for quite a while, it still wasn’t obvious where to go.
What made things worse is that the staff did not provide clear or helpful directions when asked. For a place that’s this hard to locate, you would expect employees to give precise instructions—but that wasn’t the case.
On top of that, security requires you to show your ID every single time you return to the hotel area, which quickly becomes inconvenient and repetitive, especially during a short stay.
Overall, the lack of clear access, poor guidance from staff, and constant security checks made the experience unnecessarily stressful. I would not recommend staying here unless these issues are improved."
"At near midnight we decided that we needed an extra room for comfort with young adult children joining us and the front desk staff got us a second room quickly and smoothly. We really appreciated the last minute addition."
"Pool was being renovated so our 2 teens couldn’t go swimming which is one of the reasons I booked EQ was to go in the pool. Also on one of the beds we found corn nuts under the sheets."
"Our room was adequate and clean. I had reserved a room with one bed but when we arrived they did not have one available. We were offered a room with two queen beds and they did not give us a discount on the price, so we had to pay extra. We were told the lobby was open 24 hours and there would be coffee and some food for breakfast, but the next morning the lobby door was locked with a sign on the door that it would reopen at 6 am. By 6:45 we simply left, and since there was no way to check out, we left the room key on the bed. I assume they must have had some kind of staffing problem. Our experience overall was just OK."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Seattle Federal Way
6/10 Okay
"This is a clean enough hotel, an average stay, breakfast was ok. Tv in room didn’t work, but beds were comfortable, towels in bathroom were there but very thin. I would stay there again, but don’t expect anything more than an average stay."
"Traveling with my sister, so we each had our own bed, which were very comfortable.
The tub/shower combination was just fine, with shampoo and body wash, but no conditioner so bring your own! Thankfully, I had packed that anyhow.
Location was most convenient for our running around and visiting friends and family.
The breakfast was good with a nice selection of warm food, fruit, juices, dry cereal, coffee, or tea.
Was a little surprised by the $10 night parking fee, may have been in the information so may have missed it …
Staff was friendly and helpful!"
"It was perfect! There was an issue with the sheets and they gladly fixed the problem! Always available at the front desk to help!
Super clean and quiet hotel! Highly recommended! Excellent view of Mt Ranier!!"
"Upon checking in we were told that the AC was not working but we would be able to open the window and could have a fan for the room. We had already paid for our room so we continued with the booking. We get up to our room and the window are screwed shut. We call and maintained comes and opens it for us to quickly realize that we are right next to a train which is unbearably loud. It was too hot in the room even with the fan and window open for us. Staff was really nice and never showed frustration with helping us, but it really affected our sleep not to have working air. Staff allowed us to move rooms away from the train which helped a bit, but overall I would not stay again."
