The staff were friendly and service was prompt. The setbacks were the rate charged which did not correspond to the facilities. I booked a family room and it was not what I expected. Cramped, toilet was dirty, no toiletries provided except for a miserable small bottle of shampoo and body wash. No laundry bags, carpet was slightly damp and smelled musty. The layout of the room is very disappointing. The air cond is placed in the wrong location. And the car park is to be shared with the customers of the food court. Couldn't sleep at night because of the noises from the food court and the trains which ply the track behind the hotel. The hotel needs a revamp. I'm very sure not to go back to this hotel.

Good hotel.
Nice hotel. Bit away from the centre. So best if you have a car or use taxis. Saying that there is a good food hall next to the hotel. As well as bars and cafes. Together with a near by shopping centre. Staff are super friendly and helpful. So yes I can recommend this hotel.

A small hotel with spacious rooms. Hotel is next to a food court with many local food choices. It is opposite a Lotus hypermarket and near Taiping Sentral Mall.

Pricing is Ok. Comfortable, reasonably tidy and clean. Parking is airy and well lit and easy. Food court adjacent. Unfortunately my room smelled of cigarette smoke.

Good short stay
Generally ok for a short stay . The family is good with 2 queen size beds and one roller bed for 5 of us. Location is ok as we drive , opposite is Tesco and next to hotel is food court. But to my disappointment is the price I paid at Hotels.com is RM30 more than the hotel charged for their direct booking customer!

We had a family trip to Taiping. We stayed a night at the hotel. The hotel is next to a food court which is good for meal. But there were music till 1 am so a bit disturb for sleep. But overall good.

Room is quite spacious. Bed is firm and comfortable. Towels are a good size and plush. In dire need of new paintwork, thorough cleaning and maintenance. The carpet feels grimy, the window latch is broken so the noise from outside seeps in, air cond is not cold enough and there are stains on the walls and in the toilet. Some weird details such as no latch on the bathroom door so it cannot close securely from inside the room, roller blinds instead of curtains (which is cut so narrowly it just barely covers both sides of the window). It is next to the train track and an elevated expressway so traffic noise in the middle of the night can be disturbing.

The hotel staffs are helpful & friendly. Room is spacious. The only down side would be the hotel corridor is a bit dark. Food court is just right next to the hotel.

Must bring ear plug.
Loved the clean rooms with very high ceiling, shopping across the road, we had 2 rooms opposite each other. My room was above the food stalls, very noisy with the people talking loudly past midnight. The other room facing the rail track, they was waken by the passing trains.

Budget hotel, good value
We were pleasantly surprised by the service we got at this budget hotel. A parking lot was reserved for us (Saturday night and the parking spaces were filled because of the food court located in the hotel - no restaurant/cafe - an actual food court with multiple stalls). Limited halal choices though. Room was ok, bed was not very comfortable though. The hotel appears to be new and the bathroom plumbing etc were all in working order and fairly clean. Opposite the hotel is a shopping mall with further eating options (more halal choices). Would stay again if visiting Taiping. Please note that a rail track is just behind the hotel - bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper and want to sleep in the morning. There were quite a few trains running in the morning.

Overall stay is pleasant and location is convenient to get food, supermarket and retail shopping. The carpark is very limited and individual parking space is quite small. Check in time is too late at 3 pm. Sound proofing is lacking.

Hotel which near to hawker and shopping center
Hawker center and pub is just at the downstairs and shopping center is opposite of the hotel. The staff is very friendly. the hotel is new and clean but maintenance need to improve.. my room safety lock is broken, hair dryer holder could not hang on wall and i need to hold the hair dryer together with holder when i dry my hair. The fridge is quite dirty.
