"We love the decor. I was blessed to run into an older woman who showed me some of the phongraphs and music boxes in the lobby. They have an old Toyota car out front that is beautiful. The coffee area was a nice place to take a break and read. We stayed in the traditional room which had tatami mats and futons. The air conditioning worked great fighting the Kyushu humid summer. The only drawback was the water pressure. Overall it was low and I think they rely on the hot spring for water so it takes a while for the water to warm."

"The hotel is right next to the train station, which is very convenient if youโ€™re traveling around the area. The rooftop onsen is small but great for relaxing your muscles after a long day of walking. The breakfast is one of the best free breakfasts Iโ€™ve had, there are plenty of options to choose from. The staff were very helpful, they helped me figure out my luggage shipment."
