I had a wonderful stay at Stella Maris Hotel in Da Nang! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The location was great for exploring Da Nang and enjoying everything the city has to offer. My stay was relaxing, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Stella Maris Hotel to anyone visiting Da Nang, Vietnam, and I would happily stay here again on my next trip!

The hotel itself was quite nice and clean, and we likely would have given 4 or 5 stars except for the fact that the room described in our booking was not what we were given. We booked a two bedroom suite that was advertised as two bedrooms with private bathrooms, king beds, separate dining/living area with table and couch. What we received was a one bedroom suite where the couch had been removed and a queen bed put in its place. And the second 'ensuite' was more like a powder room with a small stand up shower that couldn't be used without flooding the whole bathroom. When we brought these discrepancies to the hotel we were told essentially you get what you get. And there was no effort to fix the unusable shower.
Overall the hotel itself was fine, buffet breakfast was good and outside of the room issue the staff was very friendly but be aware that the photos online are intentionally deceiving and are advertised as much larger than reality.

"If you are going to central Vietnam start here. Yes, you can do nothing besides sit at the pool and read. But you can also use one of the new bicycles or rent a scooter on site to visit the villages on the island. These were the friendliest local people we have interacted with on our entire trip. ..."
