We had no idea what to expect as we booked last minute without doing any research nor looking at pictures. Also the name, One & Only Desaru, is somewhat non-descript, it doesn't evoke much... This is a 5-star resort, an oasis secluded from the world, large luxurious villas, private beaches and all -- and also, I guess, from paparazzis! That kind of a place. Top, top, top. Will return for sure.

I think it can be improved, no wifi connection all the way during my stay there. The room cleanliness can be improved, and the breakfast food also can be improved. Overall hotel area to be improved

"Enjoyed the stay. Location was fairly convenient and close to the beach. Some minor nitpicks - the water for the bathtub was not hot enough, the clothes rack in the balcony was in very bad condition. But overall, I would recommend the resort."
