"We enjoyed our stay at this adults-only boutique hotel. While in the downtown, this hotel felt like a tropical oasis. The pools, gardens and walkways were peaceful and created a very romantic atmosphere. (We met many couples on their honeymoon during our stay.) The hotel included breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was a nice buffet with a free mimosa station. The dinner menu changed daily, we were given the menu at breakfast and would then place our orders for the evening. (A vegetarian menu was available every day.) Drinks at dinner were not included. Overall, the food was good. There was a nice path from the hotel to the downtown and beach club. We tried a few local restaurants for lunch (highly recommend the Falafel Bar) and also ate lunch at the beach club (the chicken nachos were delicious!) The beach club had a great beach bar with nice views and drinks. Yoga (as well as other activities) were complimentarty and offered throughout our stay. We tried a yoga class and it was excellent. The staff were very friendly. Our room was dated but clean, our balcony had a beautiful view of the grounds and ocean. This hotel is a solid choice for Tamarindo."
"Easy to get to and central to everything.
100 meters away from the beach ad well.
Hotel is easy and convenient, but amenities are dated.
I would definitely return though"
"This is a very charming boutique hotel, with excellent staff making sure all your needs are met. They have security at the beach at all times, looking after your belongings.
Great rooms, kitchenette is equipped to cook simple meals. Great coffee and fresh fruit in the morning besides others breakfast items you can chose from.
Great beach for the surfers, but tides can be dangerous and children should be supervised.
Cleaning ladies made our rooms clean everyday. All staff is made of real hardworking people and they are so friendly.
I highly recommend this hotel for all ages, this was the most relaxing and restful vacation we ever had as a family.
Hotel’s proximity to town is also very much appreciated. It is far enough approx 1 km away so that you can get away from crowd. But it is also close enough, we walked town for brunch and dinner every day.
You wake up to birds chirping every day and beautiful flowers in front of your room. Wildlife is all around you: we had visits from monkeys, lizards, iguanas and butterflies."
