"Everything was great"

"We have stayed at the Barrymore a couple of times now and it is a great place to stay and convenient to a lot of things. We especially like that it is right across from the Straz center so we don’t have to park separately to go to immense there. We can just walk across the street. The restaurant inside is really good too with some more unique food options available."

"I had a really good experience at check in. Being greeted by my name and even was given a tour of the property. My room was over looking the water but the bathroom was not clean. This property is currently under renovation for a new pool but the beach access was a plus. Sofia at the Palmette was very nice but the valet staff ahhhh. I wasn’t prepared to be questioned the way I was and even asked to show proof I was staying at the hotel. Overall I enjoyed my time in Tampa and the view I woke up to every morning!"

"I did not try the continental breakfast, and can't say anything about ot. The hotel was renovated, but not done with looking for the details. The shower was excellent, but the shower entrance, for example, was very cheap and partially painted over, and looked dirty. I needed extra time after the checkout at 11 AM and was charged $15 per hour, and a $4 fee for the hotel per night."

"Room and bathroom were clean and smelt clean. The breakfast are was maintained and replenished frequently. Staff was very courteous."

"Breakfast was closed down by health department. Pool was freezing cold. Hallways were sticky and dirty. Laundry room reeked of mildew. Lots of “suspicious” activity going on in the rooms."
