For the price; its was enough. I had stayed with other locations owned by different companies and I would say that this was very pleasant. Of course sharing a room with a complete stranger is not ideal but the facility was on point .
The room is good, the staff is very friendly. The amenities are great. The only issue is outside the hostel there are traffic is loud.

The people, who working in hostel are very friendly and they did help me a lot during my stay in Tampa. The room, restroom and kitchen were also very good. I would recommended it it to all who want visit Tampa.
I very much enjoyed the location, amenities and the vibe of the place: clean, bright and super comfy! Appreciate the host's attitude to the guests, it was extremely welcoming and warm! Thank you so much for making my stay incredible!
The location was perfect 5 minutes from Amtrak and 15 minutes to airport. The house is clean and orderly and the complementary cold water was a greatly appreciated. The host was nothing less than amazing he was very helpful, welcoming and resourceful anything I needed he was quick to respond. I highly recommend if you are looking for affordable clean accommodation

Responsive host. Easy check-in & payment. Useful kitchen. Hot shower. Convenient en-suite bath. In light of proximity to highway, was quiet inside.
I had such a great experience at this hostel! The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well-kept, and the common area had a really chill vibe—perfect for meeting other travelers. The location was also ideal, close to everything but still quiet enough to relax. The atmosphere felt safe, social, and comfortable. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in town!

Room #8 was okay. A bit small, but livable. Biggest issue was that the head of the bed is directly underneath a window that faces the freeway. Bring earplugs and you'll be fine. Also, water pressure in the shower left a lot to be desired. But it was clean, private, and provided all the amenities I could need.
The room was great, nice kitchen and shared bath with soap, shampoo, hairdryer, etc. I didn’t explore the area.

The Hostel is delightful, a super spot, wonderfully kept, very comfortable, with a very helpful and kind owner and staff. I would recommend it highly!!
I was greeted upon arrival and this place has been the best stop on my trip. It's beautiful here. The manager has so many plants that are well taken care of and I really enjoyed the staff and other guests. It's been pleasant and I am definitely coming back again. Do yourself a favor and stay here.
nice interior, and big veranda. Cooking space and bathroom, you can chat with other travelers in the kitchen. Host is very friendly and helpful. I like the palm trees and all the plants around the house. You can hear the motorway but not too loud. Bus stop is opposite the house. You can also walk to the city.
I stayed in a private room and it fit my needs for the length of my stay.
I didn’t love that there were no windows in the room I was in and no outlets that I could see in the room.
Also, there was a very thin, unlockable sliding door between the room I was in and another room. The noise from that persons device, or maybe tv, whatever it was, it carried so well to the point that we may as well have been in the same room. That wasn’t enjoyable.
I appreciated the expansive porch and the various plants.
I’d stay again if I were in the area but would request a different private room.

The place did its job. But I was negatively surprised with the room. It was super small and had 2 bunker beds only. It was so small that it barely fits two people standing. Whatever I had to do, I needed to go to out to the bathroom which was very inconvenient. But the worst part was that I was assigned the upper bed and there was no power outlets anywhere. The only few power outlets available were on the lower bed and they were being used already and based on what I heard from other people staying in other rooms, this wasn't a problem only in my room. I got there at 9pm the first after a long day. All my devices were almost dead and I couldn't charge them in the room. I had to go out of the room to the common area and be there for more than 1 hour while my devices were charging. I was almost falling asleep. This was really inconvenient and I think it could be fixed.
I dont think I'd stay there again.
If you like 1940's era houses with a ton of charm and an artsy vibe, which I do, you'll love this place. Kind of "shabby chic". Surrounded by similar period houses and brick-paved streets, there's a bus stop just outside the gate that takes you to Historic Ybor City neighborhood and within a couple blocks of the Tampa streetcar that goes downtown. Rooms are a bit odd, but in a way that adds to the charm of the place. Kitchen has everything you need, with bottled water dispenser and complimentary Keurig coffee. Everything is very clean. Security is good, with coded locks on the gate, entry door, as well as the bedrooms, but it felt very safe anyway. No vagrants in the area. There is no front desk, but someone will come help you if you require it. Did I mention there's bougainvillea growing beside the rattan rocker on the wraparound porch?
