Needs some TLC
Chose Smokehouse because of its British charm, which it has in abundance. Sadly the hotel is little lacking in quality, more of an issue when paying a premium. The service was just ok. Polite team but no real enthusiasm to go the extra mile, despite encouraging words. Their saving grace is the food, especially the roasts and English Breakfast, which were excellent. Give the hotel some TLC and it could be worth the premium rate.

This was a last minute decision and such a good one. The staff helped with everything, were so lovely! Couldn’t recommend enough!
