Be aware the hotel is a little remote from anything else out of season and there no real entertainment around out of season, however the area looks like it would be lively in the season but please note the hotel is still a fair walk to the next bar or hotel and 20 mins to the main strip so tuk tuk will be required "

A good place to relax and unwind including a super delicious restaurant. Only thing you have to be aware of, that there is absoultely NO tourism infrastructure around this place! "This hotel has basic amenities and it's proximity to the beach is wonderful. The service is exceptional and the people who work there are so wonderful. This is not a luxurious hotel by any means, but would I stay here again, yes I would. Basic comforts were provided, including a mosquito net over the bed and a mosquito repellant plug in (much needed for the third friend who didn't have a mosquito net over her single bed). We were upgraded to an ocean view room on a top floor (lots of stairs), so...
"The owner greated us with a nice cold scented towel to wipe our faces and hands on, which was very welcoming after our hot journey and a refreshing iced tea. Our bedroom was lovely and big and spotless. A nice big bathroom with plenty of hot water. The top terrace was lovely with the sea views whilst eating great food.
You could walk to the beach in 5 minutes where you can find lots of great restaurants."

"Fantastic location, but disappointing in so many other ways. First of all there was no booking when we arrived and when it was eventually sorted it was made clear the management thought we had not paid enough through the booking agent we had used.
We stayed for 7 nights and the room was never cleaned, not even once. There was a regular smell of sewage from the bathroom and the room was very tired.
The meal we ordered one night was of such a small portion that we subsequently had to order...

"Wasn't very clean especially the bathroom. No where to place anything in the room, had to use floor. Poor lighting in room, only I of 3 lights worked. No toilet roll or soap provided, had to ask for toilet roll. No dustbin in room or bathroom. This is a homestay, not a hotel.
Breakfast was good and they attanged a scooter hire for me.
Sadly when I went to leave things turned nasty by both the father and son, claiming I needed to pay for the room and breakfast. I booked via Hotels.com a company...

"If you want a little time in a luxurious place with great service look no further! Stayed there a few days as a little treat for ourselves and we really enjoyed our time! On-site restaurant with attentive staff, good room service, wonderful swimming pool with a view and the owners live on site and are very kind people!
Super close to Secret beach, a tuk tuk ride away from other great beaches... Recommend this place. Very new too so facilities are in great condition. "

waves a little high but we managed to enjoy our time in the water. We took a stroll in the evening to check out other nearby beachside restaurants and settled on dinner at The Twins. Everyone was accommodating and we had a lovely time."
