But if you want an authentic, once-in-a-lifetime experience in one of the most spectacular locations on Earth, with some of the friendliest and most helpful people you'll ever meet, La Granja del Colca is absolutely perfect."
"The stay was wonderful, Elar (sp?) and neighbor Mari looked after us incredibly well.
They prepared wonderful meals and arranged all sorts of outings. Highly recommended. "
"This was a wonderful place to stay with a small group. The rooms were spacious and clean. The dining room met all our needs, and the front office and dining room staff were happy to help with whatever we needed.
I look forward to staying again in the future. "
"Our room was fastidiously clean and kept tidy. Staff was amazing and made sure all our needs were met, and went out of their way to make us welcome. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The service during meals was just outstanding--we did not have to wait between courses or for our glasses to be refilled as staff kept a close eye. The food was wonderful, with locally-sourced ingredients and inventive recipes. The excursions w"
"Overall a good stay. The hosts were friendly and the food was decent. Unfortunately, there seemed to be an issue with the hot water tank, so we didn’t have hot water during our stay. Aside from that, it was a good value for the price."
"The worst “hotel” imaginable. Staff have no idea what they’re doing. No wifi (i mean who needs wifi). I was told to be ready at 6 am
sharp for transport to the city. It never came. The hotel reception said that in Peru when we say 6 am we really mean 7 am. Unbelievable. I only woke up at 5 am and was there 15 minutes early. I had to hitch a ride with another couple’s driver (pure luck) to get to the city, My driver is still probably on his way. The worst part is in my haste I left behind my hat. Don’t speak a word of English for those that don’t speak Spanish. Avoid this like the plague."
"Exceptional sevice at this hidden hotel full of private casitas. Perfect for romantic couple trips.
Staff will go above and boyond in providing an mwmorable tailored experience."
