My room was next to a room renovation and after a long day, I was looking to rest. The room wreaked of chemical smells. I was then switched to an “upgrade”, which it ended up being a down grade. This room had no functioning air conditioning or proper tv service. Workmen came to take a look - fixed the tv but tried to fix the air conditioning but it never cooled the room. They also said it may leak water as the day goes on. I spoke to the manager, who said (once again) that I would receive an upgrade. After unpacking twice, I was finally moved to a decent room for a third time, which was the same as the one I had expected. All was fine and the housekeeping and front desk were excellent. I still won’t stay there again - too much hassle.
