"Amazing staff! Amazing location!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Elephant Lodge. The staff were friendly and very attentive, the pool was clean, the food was excellen and the rooms were superb. The most amazing thing was the wildlife we could see and hear from the pool, restaurant and our own rooftop terrace. We skipped a trip to the park because the surroundings were so spectacular. Would like to come back very soon!"

"Really enjoyed my stay at Tarangire Simba Lodge. The grounds backed onto the park. It was so exciting seeing elephants and other animals around the perimeter, drinking from a natural watering hole. The staff were lovely, and I was lucky to have the owner staying at the same time as they were so engaging and made my stay even better. Outside Tarangire, but a must stay if you're planing a safari in the park. "

"They did not have our booking(pre paid) which is understandable somewhat because they are out in the middle of no where, but there was no attempt on the staffs part to help fix the problem. we ended up leaving 1.5 hours later than we wanted and paid with a Card(got a refund from Hotels.com). the hotel needs to have better service. The refund from hotels.com was easy and service on there side great."

"Amazing experience at Boundary Hill. The lodge is located in the bush on top of a hill. The rooms have views to an area where animals walk around and at night you can hear all type of animal sounds from the room. The staff is fantastic and they made everything possible for accomodating our needs amd wishes. Breakfast and dinner is served in the bar/restaurant areaAlthough the lodge is located outside of the park (40min drive to Boundary gate) you still have to pay WMA fees for overnight stay....

Elephant Lodge

"Elephants, Zebra, elk, giraffe all within site from the rooms. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. Certainly worth the stay. "

"This is a challenging review to write. The property is lovely and the staff was kind-though limited in their ability to resolve the issues. If you are looking for secluded, beautiful and restful, this could be the place for you. However it is located far from any town and further from many of the sites we chose to visit. It was billed as the “perfect location” from which to explore Tarangire and Manyara NPs, but in truth it is a couple of hours from either one of these. Further, they seem only to be associated with one company for game drives and that company has all of their staff and vehicles in Arusha, another three hours away! Having said all of the above, both companies refunded our payments for an early departure and a game drive misunderstanding. I did very much appreciate their attention to these matters and do not know of anything more they could have done. Food was very good, including our picnic boxes for the game drive we did do the day we left. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained including a lovely pool area. Just be sure if you book here that you’re aware of the challenges from being too far to some sites you may want to explore from here."
