"Clean and comfortable for a one night stay. Hotel and rooms are modern, no complaints there. Charging for parking is a bit of a sting, considering the hotel is in the middle of an industrial park - but other than that, was great."

"Overnight stay for a gig at Powderham Castle. Great hotel just off the motorway spotlessly clean, modern with super friendly staff. Rooms are lovely, functional and quiet. Spacious bathroom and wonderfully comfortable beds. Light and airy communal areas and a large outdoor seating area with table service for the bar/restaurant. Fab buffet breakfast too. Whilst I don’t think there’s much within walking distance it suited our needs perfectly and would 100% stay here again."

"Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Very nice location with plenty of free parking. Easy access to Wells. Good cooked breakfast but continental breakfast was rather sparse"

"Great stay as usual here. We use this as a stop off point on our way to Cornwall. Great location, plenty of parking, breakfast included. Rooms are a little dated and could do with an upgrade but they are clean and the other factors make up up for this. "

"Lovely hotel, family room was clean and spacious, although there was only 1 double socket in the room being used for the TV and kettle. Luckily I took an extension lead otherwise we wouldn't have been able to charge our phones (I know, 1st world problems!) Restaurant was lovely, cooked and continental breakfast had everything you need. Overall fantastic stay."
