We really like the apartment style rooms, so we could feel like home from home and eat/cook there if we wanted to. Very relaxed and friendly feel to the place and convenient to local shops, parks and walks. It's a 5-minute drive to Mt Maunganui with beautiful beaches and lots of restaurants too.

The staff were fantastic very professional and polite. I had only intended on staying one night but it ended up being two. The first night it was great or so I thought but the next morning I noticed that there was a lot of dust around the sides of fridge, on the heat pump and on top of the range hood there was also duct tape holding on the bottom of the bathroom door and the bottom of the shower was gross. It was good apart from that and could have been great had the shower and kitchen had that extra touch of care. The next night after checking in to see the room in a similar state as it was when we left was a bit disheartening. The next morning we were awoken to a lot of loud talking outside our room around 8 followed by extremely loud banging. Which continued for the most part until we checked out at 10. I would have thought, if they had any maintenance like that to do, they would wait until the guests had checked out.

Small family run motel. Very clean and accessible, individual parking at each unit! Grocery close by, but do dining close to walk. well worth the money.

This property is a provider of emergency housing sponsored by the NZ government. This should have been clearly stated on your website when promoting this property. The property owners should not be allowed to mix emergency housing with accommodation for the general public and charge a very high nightly rate. We booked a 3 night stay costing NZD 1,500 but left after one night because of the highly unsatisfactory scenario. We would expect Wotif to refund us for the remaining two nights and to remove this property from your website.
