"Lovely rooms and new spa is great"

"room was clean staff was nice and breakfast was good..lots of choice"

"The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. There was a good selection of breakfast options. There is a large car park and the hotel is very convenient if you are visiting the Globe Theatre."

"Nice stay (if you need to be in central Middlesbrough). The car park is a bit tight, but it has a decent breakfast and pool. Close to city centre if you need to get a late night Parmo fix."

"Clean and cosy room, Nice bar, plenty of parking, good choices for breakfast, Hassle free stay. loved it!"

"5* from A t Z. Great staff, clean room, parking space, breakfast"

"good parking, good breakfast, perfect for the train station, good size rooms"

"Very nice surprise with the location at the bottom of Roseberry Toppin , didn’t know about this until we arrived . The hotel is a treat to stay there. We were going to a friends house in Whitby and travelling from west of Scotland. Hence it was good to stop off , we visited Stokesley near bye and loved the English village life . We will stop here again and the cost was worth it."

"Staff were very polite and welcoming, the services were great and our stay was thoroughly enjoyable"

"Good overnight stop"

"The lady on reception last night was lovely. Showed us round the facilities and to my room. Bedroom was clean and tidy. Was going for an operation so want able to do breakfast but I’d definitely book again and bring my girls. The hotel was a lovely old manor style house with all its features."

"Lovely hotel; clean and spacious."

"Lovely property in a nice quiet spot in walking distance to lovely pun serving great food."

"The staff are good and friendly"

"Really lovely visit - great breakfast"

"Comfortable room, spacious, quiet, clean."

"Room lovely and clean, staff where good stay again"

"All excellent"

"This is a mixed review. From the pictures given on expedia you are expecting a large hotel. It is not, it is a terraced house with multiple rooms in a run down area but having said that, the host was lovely, the property although needs work, is clean and tidy and very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the tea/coffee and biscuits were a very nice addition. It has a large smart TV which has a great reception. I was pleasantly surprised"
