Stayed here for a few hours after a bus from Comayagua due to the proximity to the Tica Bus Terminal the following morning. Ideal place to refresh for the next leg of the journey. The room was comfortable, piping hot shower and wifi. Staff were excellent. Recommended.

This hotel is located very close to malls, hospitals and restaurants which is great but it had limited parking which was a huge problem. I had to spin around the block 3 times to try to find where to leave the car today and I never did so I ended up checking out early . Poor bathroom conditions. Toilet would need to always be flushed twice (even with pee) water leaked from the shower ,bed was very hard , and the room did not have great lighting . Shower area was very dark.

Comfortable but basic

The room was basic but comfortable but the noise from the road spoilt that overnight stay for me, and after 24 hours of travelling, I was too tired to go and complain. Staff were very helpful. I have another overnight stay in two weeks so will have a better opinion then.

Disappointing

The Minister Hotel was a disappointed in comparison with my other stays in Tegucigalpa. Strengths: Staff was friendly and overall the room was appeared to be clean. The free Breakfast was OK. Weaknesses; While the hotel attempted to be environmentally friendly with permanent soap dispensers and solar heated shower water, it was difficult to control water temp. (Lighting and Air conditioning required the key be left in a control). Parking, even for drop off and pickup by my driver was generally a challenge. The room was secured only by a residential style lock that could be easily left unlocked. The secondary security hasp lock was broken. The advertised room safe was missing batteries and was locked open. (An inquiry resulted in a report that the room safes were unreliable so while in place, should not be used.). The coffeemaker did not have coffee provided although I was there several days. The price for the room appeared to be reasonable and The hotel overall had good potential, but the lack of simple maintenance left me unwilling to return. There are many better choices.
