Brilliant breakfasts! Great shower! Very comfy bed! Dawn was a great host. Very welcoming. Would not hesitate to come back to this lovely Georgian house when in the area.

Great Location
Great location in the heart of Coalbrookedale. Very friendly host who provided the BEST full English Breakfast I've had anywhere. Immaculate room, big bathroom and on site parking. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay. Great location
Small, friendly guest house, well placed for the Ironbridge experience with most attractions within walking distance. Clean and comfortable room with good sized bathroom. Great breakfast too, dietary requirements covered with no fuss. Highly recommended.

An excellent short break in a superb location.

We stayed at The Foundry Masters House for 2 nights. We were welcomed by Danny who suggested we reversed our car in to make an easier exit. A very wise suggestion. Our room was the smaller of the three bedrooms but we benefited from the morning sun. There was a large wardrobe with plenty of hangers & a comfy double bed. The garden was delightful with lots of colourful flowers & shrubs ( Danny’s handiwork). Dawn was the chef and her food was first class. The choice of menu was equally amazing for breakfast, lunch & evening meals. We are now on a diet having eaten so much sumptuous food. The facilities were also very good, the shower was huge & powerful & there were thoughtful touches like shampoo, conditioner & body wash. A hair drier & illuminated mirror were provided. Tea, coffee etc & electric kettle were provided too. Dawn also loaned us an OS map & suggested various walking routes. Ironbridge Gorge has lots of museums & you can purchase a museum pass to visit all museums. The surrounding areas are steeped in history are well worth a visit. The world’s first iron bridge was built here by Abraham Darby. The iron & steel works are now closed down.. Highly recommend The Foundry Masters House & surrounding countryside.

Peaceful property near the heart of Ironbridge
Amazing property in a stunning location. The property was a short walk to Ironbridge itself which had a good array of shops and restaurants to choose from. The property was also not far from two of the Ironbridge gorge museums and The Furnace bistro/restaurant. Our room was cosy and well decorated with a comfy bed and lovely ensuite shower. It was well equipped with kettle, hairdryer and fan. Our hosts were really friendly and gave us some good local tips and knowledge of the area during our stay with them. Breakfast was really delicious with a good amount of choice. Will definitely be staying here again when visiting this area.

A very comfortable stay with friendly hosts. Stayed in for an evening meal on our first night and it was excellent. Breakfast also was really good with fresh fruit and good quality full English breakfast.

Very clean room and in on-suite. Excellent breakfast and service Very friendly owners. Unfortunately the mattress in our room was a little too firm for me and the bed was very creaky, when you turned over in the night. The mattress was really my problem and not the owners, as I suffer from a bad back but the bed could do with some maintenance, i.e tighten up the relevant screws and bolts which hold the bed together.

Comfortable stay in cute and interesting area.
Small period house with smallish rooms. Excellent decor and ensuite facilities. Very comfortable with friendly and attentive hosts. Excellent evening dinner if reserved in advance and super breakfast. OtR parking and handy for walking around Coalbrokdale or into Ironbridge in under 15min (use Paradise for this!). Just needs some room seating or lounge facility to be top rating but space is obviously rather limited. Plenty of lunch/dinner choices walkable easily.

A PROPER PLACE to STAY!
Our host, Dawn, always smiling and ready to please, was a delight. She runs the 3 bedroom property with a great deal of professionalism and, if you want a three course evening meal in addition to a cooked-to-order multi-choice breakfast I don't think you 'll be disappointed! Wine by the bottle is also available at most acceptable prices. We thought that Foundry Masters House was an excellent choice within a 20 minute walking distance (1 mile) of Ironbridge where parking is at a premium. Slightly uphill on return. Do go if you're in the area.

Weekend getaway
Had a 2 night stay Friday and Saturday - the accommodation is perfectly placed with wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing!! Cannot praise this place high enough. If we are in the area again we would definitely return.
