"We stayed for three nights in a Superior Room. The room was large and comfortable. It was cold but we'd been given a heater that we did appreciate. The bathroom was large and well equipped. I think generally for India though it was expensive. It's living off it's old reputation a bit. But we picked it because basically everyone recommended it from the Man in Seat 61 to my mothers best friend. The grounds were lovely. Breakfast was good (buffet style). I wasn't impressed too much by the evening meal. I thought it was too expensive. And it was held by candlelight - it was so dark I had to use the torch on my phone to read the menu... Overall - it was good, not excellent. If I went back I'd choose somewhere else, because we've done this now, but I'm glad we stayed there this time."

"I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent stay in your family room. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations due to several service and facility issues. First, the hotel felt quite congested, and room service was difficult to reach. After 9:00 PM, calls to the staff went unanswered. Additionally, the hair dryer policy is highly inconvenient; it is unusual for a hotel to have only five units to circulate among all guests upon request. Most concerning was the condition of the family room located in the cellar. We experienced a power outage during the night, and the staff was unwilling to turn on the generator. I believe there is significant room for improvement in these areas to ensure a better experience for future guests."
