"It was such a lovely stay for a night. Staff were helpful and welcoming. Checking in & out was quick. Clean room. Breakfast was delicious. Glad to see that they put out crayons along with printed pages for kids to enjoy at breakfast area. Also glad to see real plants in the lobby area and not the fake ones. Little touches like that makes the stay memorable, thank you ❤️."
"A charming, original, and super clean hotel! The room was very comfortable, the staff was genuinely welcoming, and the pool was a huge plus for relaxing after a day of driving or wine tasting. Excellent value for money—we would definitely stay here again!"
"I thought it included breakfast but it was not offered to us when we checked in. There was only one person working in that area with many guests milling around and all of the signage reflected charges for the food so we opted to eat elsewhere. The parking lot signage also reflected parking fees which they did waive. The room was clean but was either very warm when the A/C cycles off or cool when it was on."
"We had a wonderful stay at SummerWood Inn! The location was perfect—close to the wineries and the State Fair, peaceful and relaxing. The beds are extra comfy. The staff was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The extra touches, like the complimentary bottle of wine, homemade cookies, and caramels, really set this place apart from most hotels. Those thoughtful details made our stay even more special. We highly recommend SummerWood Inn and would definitely stay...
