We have mixed feelings! The hotel staff are extremely nice people and the views are fantastic. However, it is remote and up steep lanes which made us want to have dinner at the hotel to avoid night time driving. Dinner, while home cooked, is not very good - a bit like going to a friend's whose cooking is just about ok. As with friends, it's hard to complain when they are so nice but we didn't enjoy the food except for our dinner on the last night. If each meal could have been that good we would have been much happier there.
If you are not so concerned about dinner, it's a charming group of buildings. Our room had a nice terrace and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was also pretty good with a choice of fruits, yoghurts, cheese, cold meats and eggs however you like them done.
Some tripadvisor comments about roads are a bit unfair as anywhere off the beaten track in Tenerife is going to involve steep hills. If you want to avoid the really killer turn, switch off the sat nav at Arona village and follow the main road past the garage and take the second on the right about half a mile up the hill - it's a hairpin turn and you need to be in first gear. The hotel is signposted on this corner and at the remaining turns - the road is called Fermin...something!
