"I booked this room through Expedia.com. Upon arrival I was told there was no room available. I asked why and was told their computer system overbooked the hotel and since I booked through Expedia, there was nothing they could or would do. We had to go to another town to get a room.
Later when I called and complained to Expedia a representative called the Super 8. When she returned to me she said she was told that the Super 8 had a water heater failure and it affected a section of the building. Sounds to me Super 8 is lying about something.
What I want to know is whether Expedia will do anything about a booking through their website that leaves travelers stranded. "
