1. There is a boat that goes from mainland to the island where the hotel is. The boat does not run if there are thunderstorms. No one from the hotel notified us about this and told us that the boat is NOT running now and we can not get to the hotel tonight. "Hotel sauber aber ganz schön in die Jahre gekommen. Frühstück eine Absolute Katastrophe, 1 Kaffeemaschine für alle Gäste. Wartezeit von 20min sind normal um sich einen Kaffee runterlassen zu können. "This place is a bit of a drive but worth it.
We booked it a few hours before 19:00 The check in said the front desk would be there until 19:00. We hurried making it there at 18:55. I even texted the number provided on the listing to tell them we may be a bit late. We arrived to find no one at the reception desk. We tried calling the number provided the phone rang in the desk. Finally a lovely lady who was working in the kitchen came to our aid. Out of the Goodness of her heart helped us out and called the manager, she also got us keys and showed us to our room. We were very grateful to her and her hospitality. There was still no reception staff in the morning for check out. "
