Beach Resorts in Terceira Island

"I had a great experience at this hotel. Breakfast had an assortment of foods to choose from. There was a swimming pool and gym on the property. Access to beach and quick walk to town through back gates. The front receptionist Natacha was super helpful booking a taxi for a remote hike we wanted to do. Housekeeping was helpful supplying us with fresh towels when we asked. The only downfall I had was temperature control of room. At times slightly warm if coming in from walk. "We stayed here due to its proximity to the airport on a 20 hour layover coming home to Toronto. The pool area was lovely and we got to relax and enjoy all day with minimal people. Hotel is walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants and beach. The rooms are outdated but it was still very comfortable and the AC blew ice cold! We had a nice balcony on the 2nd floor. Staff were wonderful and helped organize an early morning taxi for us so we wouldn’t miss our flight home. "
