Hotels near Tergar Monastery

"This is a 3 star hotel located about 1.5 miles from the Mahabodhi temple and the Bodhi tree. (When I booked it, the map showed it being very close, but it isn't.) It mostly caters to an Asian audience (Indian, Thai, Tibetan). The restaurant is excellent, as are its prices. (I would order a la carte instead of doing buffets). The room is a bit old and quite small. The bathroom was very nice. The staff is for the most part very friendly and helpful. "

"The whole experience was terrible from this hotel as the hotel is far away from the main road and road to the hotel is not lighted up in the night and feels unsafe. The hotel staff is not friendly and unable to assist. "What a great place to stay. It's only 15 minute walk to the Mahabodhi Temple and Kalachakra Grounds, but in the middle of nature, right on the bank of the beautiful Naranjana River. You can see the Mahabodhi Temple right from the hotel itself, too. We had a great stay. The staff was professional and helped with every need that came up during my 9 day stay. Highly recommended!"
