"We had a great 3 night stay in Borgo Marino Plemmirio! Nice rooms with airconditioning and decent kitchen. The swimming pool is very nice with see views and even the Etna in the background!
Very close to this somewhat isolated location is a fantastic little beach (Spiaggia Massolivieri). It is the nicest beach we have been to in Italy!
Also the old town of Syracusa is a must-go-to."
"We chose to stay at this hotel because it was just outside of town and had a pool. The ground of the hotel are beautiful, and the pool was perfect in the extreme heat. My only issue was the location. It is a 15 minute drive to the center of Siracusa, and if you don't have a car, you are forced to pay 30 euros each way. "Fantastic hotel with great facilities and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very tasty (and lovely to eat on the terrace overlooking the sea). The upper floor where the loungers were was perfect and a very relaxing place to sit after exploring busy Ortigia. Sabrina also let us...

"The resort is set in magnificent grounds , surrounded by farmland.
It has a beautiful swimming pool and easy access to the beach ( which is pebbles—-but beautiful sand and water once you wade out)"
"Charming Sicilian Hotel within walking distance to bustling Ortiga. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Friendly staff and delicious daily breakfast with made to order cafe. Bonus- complimentary granita provided to hotel guests daily in the lobby. A/C is a welcome respite to escape the hot summer temps. "
