The hotel is nothing special but it was clean and the bathroom I had was nice so it worked out when there was an event nearby. Better than camping for sure

You basically pay for what you get here. The bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Room smelled musty though. Front desk was nice and accommodating.

Nice place to stay.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and clean. The mini fridge worked great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was so-so and the shower could have been hotter. The landscaping could use some help and the pool wasn't functional but that was not an issue for us. We would stay here again. Great value for the price.

the room was very large and clean. The heater/air conditioner worked perfectly. The carpet was clean and the walls freshly painted. The free parking was about 100 yards from the motel. The continental breakfast was adequate. The coffee was good!

This hotel serves its purpose!!

We were in town for our annnual extended family gathering. This is the closest hotel to where we need to be! The hotel serves its purpose! Beds - decent sleep, great AC, hot showers, microwave, mini coffee pot, hair dryer, breakfast items and coffee available 6-10am. Staff was friendly and hard working. Really wish they could get the swimming pool fixed!!

Being off season would be a wonderful time for the owners to update. This could be a really nice place, if it was cared for and updated. It wasn't terrible, but would only stay again if only thing available for another last minute trip. Person checking us in was nice. There was no one around when we checked out at 8am.

Covered Bridge Visit

The Royal Inn is in an excellent location for visiting the covered bridges at Billie's Creek and it's very close to Rockville. The room we had was large and clean but the hotel itself was in poor condition. The parking lot had pot holes, the walls in the hallway by the front desk were gouged and the place just looked like it hadn't been well maintained.

The room was large, modern, well maintained, and comfortable. Good water pressure, comfortable bed, refrigerator and micro in room. Breakfast was minimal.but adequate. Good value for the money. Covered Bridge Festival stay

We stay here nearly every year. The hotel has aged & remains open, but is still clean, safe & a welcoming place to stay. Not many upgrades or ameneties, but they still offer a continental breakfast & it is very clean with good beds & bathrooms. Only disappointment was our room heater/cooling unit. It was in need of an overhaul as it was very powerful, even on low. We had a nice, pleasant stay. Will be here again next year.

Host had very little Customer skills, building was very run down,our room was very noisy,mechanical noise constantly from next room ,parking lot was a hazard. Overpriced for the room ,no never go back.period
