"Absolutely 11/10 experience. One of the most thoughtful hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s perfectly cozy while also feeling elevated - you can tell that there has been extra thought and care put into every detail. Highly recommend hitting up the communal bonfire - don’t be shy about it! Some of our best memories during our three night stay were meeting strangers at the fire pit and laughing and telling stories (while making s’mores from the kits provided by the staff!). Thank you for a beautiful and memorable stay - we will be back!"

"The room was clean & space enough for the 2 of us adults. The bed & bedding was average. The continental breakfast was good. Did not include hot food but had decent bagels, donuts & muffins. The location was great & had nice outside space behind the lodge for sitting & looking at the lake. Large property with many cabins. Restaurants were not able to accommodate everyone every night."

"I did wish it had breakfast. But there was good places to eat right nearby. The place sits on a beautiful part of lake superior so I was extremely happy to go rock climbing around the shores. Everything that you need is there."

"This was our first stay here and it was very good! The breakfast was decent and well maintained. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. I'm still a bit shocked by the price of rooms per night and add on fees, but I realize this seems to be normal now up and down the North Shore. But it's apparent this property is trying to draw in more kids and families here offering family fun things to do and that is appreciated. We stayed here because it was close to our hiking plans. We would stay here again! But look at deals - if available!"

"We have been staying at Cliffdweller over the past 10 years. I have to say I am a little disappointed in the direction it’s heading. It felt much more person with the care initially. But now it’s just like any other budget hotel. The view is great. But breakfast not until 8? Way too late. And not much to speak of. It’s lost its charm which is what made it special. For the price it should be better."
