"This is a beautiful old hotel property. It has great bones and the rooms have been updated and modernized nicely. That said, there are some very quirky aspects to the property. Firstly, there is no reception - just an automated machine that provides a key card. This means that there is no one to ask about parking, amenities etc. The second thing is that no one speaks English at all. The cleaning staff was very sweet but could not speak a word. We had to use Google Translate for all...

"Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, ebenso das Bad. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, sowohl an der Rezeption wie im Service- Das Frühstück war sehr gut, fehlendes wurde sofort nachgereicht. Durch die sehr zentrale Lage des Hauses waren die Geschäfte und sehenswerten Punkte der Stadt sehr gut zu erreichen, nur liegt der Eingang "etwas versteckt", so das man nicht ganz einfach den Eingang findet. Problematisch ist es, wenn man mit dem Auto anreist, da das Haus mitten in der Fußgängerzone sich befindet."
