Top Texas Wildlife Park and Education Center Hotel Reviews
The Inn Of The Hills
10/10 Excellent
"We did not have time to enjoy the seating near the swimming pool, due to time frame of out stay. I did notice an extra charge of $2.80 on my bank statement, I will call the merchant and see why that charge is on my bank activity pending."
"This is a great place to stay to get away! The views are beautiful! The cabin is cute! The cabin was clean! There is WiFi but it is seriously limited, which is ok for us. Pet friendly, which was perfect for us!
The cons, the beds are rock hard! The pillows are rock hard. None of us slept because it was son uncomfortable, that could just be preference, but for us it’s a big deal! I think the porches need to be repainted and sealed, I know it’s crazy hot in Texas and humid, but they need a touch up, just because of splinters! The pool is great just needs to be kept up! It was really dirty, I know it’s to be somewhat expected but it was pretty bad. The last thing is mowing the high brass, especially at camp sites, of course I could be nitpicking, but we also live out in the Texas hills and I know those are the way to get bit by a snake.
Overall it’s really nice, for us the only thing stopping us from going back is the beds, but that could just be preference."
"We didn’t use the pool, as we arrived around 9 PM but was surprised the pool and hot tub were available til 10:30 PM.
Everything was perfect from the amenities to the breakfast. The lady behind the front desk was courteous and engaging.
Thanks!"
"If you want to enjoy a beautiful and peaceful ecosystem, respecting the wildlife, and still be near Fredericksburg, THIS is your best choice. The place is amazing. The nature is just there. Three ponds, thousands of trees, great open space, deer, rabbits, ducks around you, it was just fantastic. We stayed at the cabin. It has a real-life house kitchen, even a laundry set for you inside the place. It was clean, and everything looked new. My only complaint is that the bed was a bit small for two tall and big adults, but they told me that they have other options without the big kitchen, but with a bigger space. Nevertheless, without a doubt, we will come back. Finally, thank you so much, Madison, for your help and guidance. You are the best!"
"I like the entire ambience of this property., The owners and the maintenance crew were very pleasant, friendly and marvelous people. I enjoyed the dear and all the scenery of the property. The cabin was very clean and quiet. The location was perfect to travel into Fredericksburg Tx. I turned it into a mini quick 4th of July celebration. Definitely do recommend."
"Upon arrival the front desk guy was super friendly and helpful. With no delay I was in my room which was beyond clean!!! And very spacious I may add!!!
I go on these “for the fun of it” trips often and this was by far the easiest concerning the TV. They had a poster guide in the room and the TV and remote made it so simple to look up shows.
I am very satisfied with this hotel and will be back!!!!"
"Very private! Loved having our own individual hot tub. Staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. Room was sparsely furnished, could have used another luggage stand to prevent having to put bags on the floor. Closet/storage was a little tight also.
Loved the unique setting and close proximity to Main Street."
