"We were not happy with this property. It was dirty - visible stuff on the floor so we didn't want to walk barefoot; hair and a plastic razor cap on the bathroom floor. The sink didn't drain. A quick wash of hands and the basin filled up. The shower also didn't drain well, and by the end of a shower, we were standing in a few inches of water. Finally, the bathroom fan didn't pull air. We spoke to the front desk about the plumbing issues, and all they said was they would let the manager know when he came in. The smoke detector had been torn out of the ceiling leaving loose wires dangling. The exterior door, which was right next to our hotel room, would not shut because it was misaligned. The doors to the rooms were very thin, and you could easily hear anything going on in our room or any other room from the lobby. The tiny little ice machine had no scoop in it, so my husband had to use his hands to get ice. The "breakfast" consisted of 2 types of dry cereal/milk and a waffle maker. There was no other food and no beverages. There was no common area to sit except for 2 chairs in the lobby. This caused us a problem because we needed somewhere to stay while our son made a hour-long business call. We paid $99 before tax. This was frustrating, not only because the hotel was such a dump, but also because that was at least $5 more for the same room than the front desk quoted to a group that came in while we were sitting in the lobby. This was our worst Super8 experience."
