"Arrival at the property was disappointing. It took a while to get hold of the lodge manager , as no one was at the gate to open. Dispute notices about dangerous animals, I was still expected to get out of the car and open the gate, same at check out too. This was is irresponsible as if puts guests in danger! Property requires updating, no phone in the lodge, so guests have no way of contacting reception/ manager. Staff were accommodating, attentive and helpful. Had fish and chips for dinner,...

"The room and surrounds were clean and the gardens well kept and pretty. Further afield lots of wildlife. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful with guidance about local activities and attractions. Great breakfast and evening meal, tasty and varied. Would love to revisit. Very enjoyable 3 days."
