Room was really clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. It made such lovely change to have a cooked breakfast brought to you instead of luke warm self service. Bar prices very reasonable. Restaurant food was great and reasonable prices.

We had a nice and comfortable stay overall. The venue is lovely, with beautiful views and a great location. The rooms were nice, although a little dated in places. There were just a few things that could have been better. The toiletries were very limited for two people – only one soap, one shower gel and one body lotion. There was also a crack in the shower, and the water was filling up when using the sink, which wasn’t ideal. The spa was lovely, but we were disappointed that we had to pay extra for a robe. Most hotels provide these complimentary, especially when guests are using the spa. Pool was slightly cold. The towels they provide for the spa are like hand towels. Breakfast was decent, although you have to order your main breakfast rather than help yourself to everything, Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found it comfortable. With a few small improvements to the rooms, maintenance and little extras, this place could easily be a 4- or 5-star experience. It has so much potential.

Not sure where the rating comes from but not my idea of a 4 star hotel ! Whilst the size of the room was very generous , no bottled water or enough toiletries for 2 people . The Spa was not particularly clean , a cold Jacuzzi with many missing tiles . Treatment seemed to be cut short of the 25 mins paid for . Afternoon tea was a huge disappointment , again the area looked liked it needed a good clean ! Disappointing that this was due to be a weekend with family at didnt quite turn out as planned .
