On the very edge of Thames
Unit with sea view had everything needed. There is public parking between unit and sea so towards sunset lots of cars and RV arrived and some stayed overnight. It is a fair way into Thames so if you require anything you need to take your car.

Only had 1 night here as a stop over, we would have liked another day to relax a little and have a walk around. The river behind hotel was beautiful and so was the sunset

Lovely motel just by the sea. A good 1 night stop to make if you spending time driving the coromandel loop

Lovely peaceful spot. Gorgeous sunset. Spacious accommodation. Comfortable large bed. Good shower. Kitchen facilities allows self catering. Staffing very helpful. Looks a little dated, but has everything you need. Could stay longer if we had time.

Excellent motel
Lovely setting on beach with great sunsets. Well maintained and clean unit with everything you need. Quality towels and linens. Close to Thames attractions. We had a great holiday!

10/10! Amazing place to stay. Absolutely beautiful location right on the ocean looking into the sunset. Rooms are self contained units which is awesome and very spacious - easily would sleep 4 in 3 beds. Fully functional kitchen with a full sized fridge and bathroom and shower were nice too. Has AC and Wi-Fi and TV with DVR. Also love the contact free check in and check out. Key was on table in my room when I arrived and I left it there when I left.

Cold Room with Tiny Bathroom but Self Check-in
The room was freezing due to improper window insulation. There is no AC/heater in the bedroom, only in the living room. The bathroom was tiny and cold. Very narrow gravel entryway and parking spots. Seemless self check-in and check-out are the few positives.

Holiday Cottages
This accommodation would be better described as holiday cottages. We had a one bedroom cottage with carport. Main bedroom had queen and single bed, so would have been very cramped for three as there was no hanging space (just a tree hook on the wall) and only room for one suitcase (we put one on the spare bed). Bathroom is long and narrow, shower was fine, basin is a bit small and there are no hooks or rails for towels etc. Under sink cupboard was full with many rolls of toilet paper and hairdryer, so our toilet bags had to go on the floor. Kitchen was adequate with plenty of crockery and utensils and portable double hot plates were OK. There was a dining table for two and a couch and lounge chair. Room service was best we have had, even beds were made, however, not very eco friendly as towels were changed every day. Cottages are down off the road near where the river enters the sea and back of unit faced the newish river flood wall. There is also a nice undercover BBQ area in the centre. It’s a short walk to the seafront, but a better walk is to go back over the bridge and walk down there to the seafront for a really nice stroll on a sealed path.

Rooms were very close together however very quiet. Beautiful location overlooking the water and the room was very clean. Horrible person (I’m guessing Manager) to deal with when we checked in. We’ve been in touch through Expedia and said we wouldn’t likely make it by the check in end time of 6pm, was told that we would receive details for check in the day of arrival and the key would be on the table. We didn’t receive details so when we arrived our partners rang the bell to explain and ask which was our room. The lady was so rude and very put out and claimed that it was Expedias responsibility to contact us and not her. Not happy with her attitude, not typical of New Zealanders. Sorry we disturbed her but what could we do? Think need to work out a better way of communicating with coming guests.

Lovely place by the sea.
A comfortable stay with a beautiful outlook out over sea. A property had nearly everything but did lack hanging space for clothes. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. Car parking was outside the door with your own car port. We we love to stay here again.

We had a very spacious 3 bedroom home with full kitchen, oversized lounge/dining area and huge bathroom. The outlook to the beach was superb. Great service from a friendly, hardworking team of staff who made our stay super comfy. The best sleep from the softest beds and pillows made this a dream stay.
