"Maybe I should start with my GF and I were cycling a DIY version of the Ha Giang loop. Our stay at Tớ Dày was our fifth evening and also my GF's birthday. It also turned out to be one of the hardest day's we'd faced (a 75km day that had us over 300km in total) and had pushed us to get there before nightfall.
I contacted the homestay in advance and asked if they could provide a suitable meal, a bottle of wine and maybe a cake to celebrate. Not really expecting a great deal considering how remote the homestay is.
However, they took on the challenge with gusto! First of all we were shown to one of their lovely bungalows with an uninterrupted view of the surrounding area.
After showering away the grime of the day we were shown to a soft candlelit table right on the edge of the patio. A bottle of really gorgeous wine was supplied to us and we were served a truly memorable meal. Just fantastic. There was a great relaxed Vietnamese soundtrack tinkling away in the background.
Once our meal was finished there was a change in the music. A Vietnamese birthday song was suddenly being played, the folk on the other tables started clapping and a cake came out with candles and my GF's name on it. To say she was overjoyed is an understatement.
The effort couldn't have been finer, thank you so much to all at the Tớ Dày homestay ❤️
This is a quiet homestay away from the noise of the village. Beautifully presented and not far from the waterfalls, perfect for a crowdless dip."
"Extremely helpful, friendly end English speaking staff. Do yourself a favor and be sure to have dinner at their restaurant. So glad we did because it’s Absolutely delicious!!!!!"
"Great hotel clerk. Helped us w everything. Nice balcony overlookn the busy main street. All quiet at nite. Beds were awesome. Huge and comfy. Bathroom could use an update. But loved the stay"
"The property is on a beautiful land and our two bedrooms private bungalow is spacious and very nice decorated. Lot of bugs but that meant we were next to the nature. The service is very good. Food is only okay but we weren’t there for food. "
