"We tried to check in 30 minutes early but no rooms were ready. Finally get checked in and our "freshly cleaned room" had sheets that had dirt or something on them. We were going to be gone for a couple of hours, so before we left, I asked the person at the desk if she could have our sheets changed while we were gone. She said there wasn't anyone that could do it because her one housekeeper she had for the day was gone. She said she could give me a sheet and we could change it. I asked for a comp if we were going to have to change our own sheets. She said most she could do was give me points because I booked through Expedia. She said she would look at them while we were gone. When we got back, luckily she had changed them for us. No points added or anything I guess because she actually did her job. Not impressed for the hotel only being a few years old. "
"I ended up staying a week waiting to close on new home. Hotel was nice, hot tub and pool was awesome! Unfortunately many guest coming and going all hours of night slamming doors, and loud talking. Asked manager to move me to another room, but refused to accommodate me. Guess it doesn’t matter if their ratings go down. Several homeless lurking around area, and appeared to be drugged up! Apparently this town has a drug problem. "
"Upon checking in, we were told that the key card machine was broken and that the desk attendant would have to let us into our room each time we left it. That was understandable; however, we asked if there was a room on 1st floor available, so the desk attendant switched us. When we got into the room, it was not a suite as I had reserved. So, I went back to the front desk, and she apologized and said she didn't even see we had a suite when she switched us. So, we load up, and she puts us in another room on the 2nd floor. She follows us up to let us in, and the door would not open very far. She finally had to open it for us and had to use her whole body to get it open! The door was dragging (BAD) on the floor and was hard to open and close. We were visiting with our children/grandkids and noticed that the smoke detector had a plastic bag over it. Then, in the bathroom, there were some splatter marks on the wall that looked like blood??? When we checked out, we told them the room # we were in, and they said, oh, the one with the bad door! We were not told what time breakfast was, pool hours, etc when we checked in either. Very disappointed with this property! They weren't even full! Why put us in a room with a bad door! What if there was a fire? A covered smoke detector and an unsafe door do not sound comforting! "
