"Manage your expectations people. Staying here is like crashing at your single uncle’s double wide to save money and swim in his pool. Wear shoes to avoid the cringe floor and bring snacks.
You will be fine- but don’t pay more than $100 per night. This is an easy 7 min. walk from the convention center.
If Kayla is there- I would stay again despite our issues. She knows how to get things done!
Issue #1:
Our first room’s toilet was literally unhinged from the floor. It was ready to walk out on the job. Kayla changed our room. Crisis averted.
Issue #2:
When you check in you sign that housekeeping is not provided daily. It is provided every third morning or upon request before 11am. Outside of that hotel staff needed permission to enter your room. We were staying 3 nights and I was content with not having housekeeping. However, on the second afternoon we returned to a cleaned room. Nothing to really complain about yet. Until I discovered that our personal bath towels had been taken. Mind you- they were not laid out. They were INSIDE a tote bag along with other items we had just laundered at the previous hotel. The fact that housekeeping would do that was frustrating to say the least. Kayla once again came to our rescue and searched through the bins of towels to find ours! *I would suggest keeping valuables with you.
Issue #3: Laundry is $1 in quarters but you will have to run the dryers three times on high to dry anything and only one washer/dryer was “working”.
