"I and 3 friends staying there in Oct, from the very start the welcome was v positive. My 3 American friends enjoyed an evening meal and all us enjoyed a drink later on. The barman / night porter was most engaging and good fun. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order with great variety. The hotel is out of town and was very quiet. "I chose this spot for its proximity to Slieve Donard, it was so close.. way closer than I expected. I loved the location and how it’s nestled off to the side but still in town so you can walk. You are right on the water and there are paths everywhere to get you where you want to go. "
