I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. All of the rooms are new, with great amenities. It’s on a very quiet safe street, but within walking distance of the center of city with restaurants and shopping nearby. The staff were very friendly and generous. The rooms were clean and quiet. Highly recommend!

In a fabulous location, well appointed and spacious room, very comfortable super king size bed, quiet with pretty canal view. Everything we needed for a 4 night stay.

Right there on the canal in a quiet place. The man who checked us in was remarkably accommodating, letting us into our room early because they had the cleaning staff on call, knowing that we might’ve recently flown in and needed rest. Excellent , gourmet coffee selections in the downstairs area.

The fact that this is a four star hotel and it was pretty pricey, I was quite disappointed. The lack of cleaning was a big turndown for me. There was mold in the corner of the room, brown stains on the walls near the toilet, spider webs. The towels had wholes in them, etc. The cleaning staff was very loud, they made a lot of noise early in the morning and were always speaking very loud. The girl who did my check-in however was very friendly and helpful.

A convenient walk from the center of Leiden and easy access to bus routes going to Leiden Centraal. Convenient to have digital keys to access the property. Great service and room was always maintained clean. Vending machines are not open to international guests (no easy way to pay).

Friendly staff, helpful recommendations. We rented bikes at the train station and were able to safely store them in the hotel patio area. They have a fun water station for you to fill your own water bottles, with sparkling or still water. There is no elevator so you’ll probably have to go up some stairs, just FYI. Place is quiet and restful! Enjoyed the location away from the fray but along a pretty canal, and still easily walkable to anywhere you’d want to go. Recommend this hotel for an enjoyable stay!

My hotel stay was wonderful! I booked the loft. It was very spacious, clean, spacious, and well equipped - there was silverware, crockery, a nespresso machine, fridge, and microwave. I liked the continental breakfast that was brought to my room, and the staff were also very helpful. I had to climb two flights of stairs to get to the door of the loft and then another one once inside the room, but I was very glad for the exercise. Just be aware of this and book a room on the ground or second floor (first floor outside the US) if you don't find stairs convenient. If I'm ever in Leiden again, I will definitely stay here. 10/10!

10 our of 10! Very friendly and polite staff. Calm environment. Clean rooms, luxury feel, convenient location near the water. Sustainable and environmental! It was also very nice of them offering a coffee machine. Definitely would like to come again!
