Hello our visit was good, the personal were very nice and the room was great, it was very big. The Breakfast was okay… the choice was very limeted and there wasn’t that much choice for vegan/ lactosefree.

Very good hotel, but beware the details

A very good, if rather expensive, hotel with an excellent restaurant. The front desk staff were helpful, the room was a good size with a good desk, bright and airy, the location is ideal, and the restaurant is outstanding - the best cuisine I have encountered to date in Scheveningen (3 visits to date). A couple of disappointing aspects: - There was no fridge in the room - The queen bed I requested turned out to be two single beds and mattresses pushed together.

Wir haben in keinem Hotel so schlecht geschlafen, wie in diesem. Die Matratzen waren total durchgelegen, da half auch der sehr dicke Topper nicht mehr. Mit offenem Fenster zu schlafen, nur wer die laute Umgebungslautstärke mag. Straßenbahnen... Mehrzahl, Busse, schreiende Möwen etc. Es gibt keine Haltemöglichkeite direkt vor dem Hotel zum Be- und -Entladen vom Gepäck. Wenn man nicht vorher im Hotel für 27,50€ die Nacht im eigenen Parkhaus gebucht hat, kann man in einem ca. 8-10 minütigen Parkhaus im Hotel buchen für 17,50 € die Nacht. Die Lage ist eigentlich sehr gut gelegen. Das Frühstück war auch ok, für den Preis aber Verbesserungswürdig.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut mit Tram 9 erreichbar. Das Musicaltheater ist direkt nebenan und zum Strand nur über die Straße. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Auswahl beimFrüFrühstück ist sehr reichhaltig.

Das Personal war überwiegend nett, aber am nettesten war die Dame beim Frühstücksbuffet. Das Frühstück selbst ist keine 18,50€ Wert, selten ein so kleines und schlecht bestücktes Buffet gesehen! Die Matratze vom Bett war total durchgelegen und dadurch sehr weich, Rückenschmerzen waren stark. Auch gab es sehr wenig Handtücher und nur einen Mini Fön. Sonst war das Zimmer sehr groß und die Fenster hielten den Straßenlärm relativ gut ab. Was sehr doof ist, dass man nicht mal vorm Hotel parken kann um sein Gepäck auszuladen, auf dem Hotelparkplatz gab es keinen Platz somit mussten wir in die Garage die fussläufig ca 7 min vom Hotel entfernt ist.
