"We had a great stay"

"The lobby was very saturated with cigarette smoke. The bar and restaurant was the only reason I would return. The staff at the bar was kind, funny and made you feel at home. The food was amazing. I had the beet/ blackberry salad."

"There was no person on duty when we arrived late at night, nor the next morning. All communications were through a video kiosk. The person on the other end was extremely hard to understand. He never could find our reservation. After about 30-40 minutes he finally gave us a room as a new booking. No breakfast as advertised except for some yogurt cups and coffee. The hotel charges $5 for each shuttle ride. There were no cups in the room at all. "

"Everything was fine but the iron did not work "

"The entire place is under construction. No morning breakfast, no pool, no safe hallway or elevator or any other common area. There wasn’t even a lobby. There was a temporary front desk set up. I attempted to tour the room and before I checked in and the hallway had light fixtures hanging from the ceiling and drywall over the floor. The elevator was covered in drywall dust and paint. Plastic coverings everywhere. I couldn’t stay with my dog or my sister who recently had lung surgery. I was charged for the entire stay and contesting the charges. None of this was disclosed prior to my arrival and I did not authorize the charge. "
