"The staff were great. When I first arrived for a business reservation there had been a mixup and another guest had been checked into my room. The concierge handled it smoothly and professionally. They seamlessly moved me to another room and upgraded it to a room with a view for my trouble. Later in the week when my personal reservation started under this booking, again the transfer was seamless and they let me stay in the same room at no additional charge. I have stayed here multiple times for business and alway find the staff to be courteous and helpful with any booking issues. "

"The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the location was perfect. There are lots of reasonably priced dining options nearby, and you're just a short walk from the Staten Island Ferry (for the Statue of Liberty), the Brooklyn Bridge (with a quick ferry to DUMBO), Battery Park, Wall Street, the 9/11 Memorial, and more. The subway is also close, making it easy to get to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and other attractions. Our room had a lovely ocean view with a view of Brooklyn. A nice bonus that they offer is early check-in at no extra cost if a room is available, and they’ll hold your luggage after check-out if you need to explore before heading to the airport. "

"The room was very comfortable and the view was incredible. Quiet area, staff was very nice. My only reason for rating this hotel 4 stars is the deli. The cafe/deli was not good. Everything took very long to come to the table, and the breakfast wasn’t good. The staff there were kind but the service was extremely slow. Next time I would take the walk to a local spot. "
