Check in was a nightmare they over booked their rooms. But the room was clean. Quite a few loiterers in the evening buy security was doing their best. Not the worst place to stay in the pas but is probably better places there

A decent place in a northern town
-Front desk people seem to care about patrons, -Property is aging, but mostly maintained. -Room locks could be upgraded for better security( they had to make a room key for me as the old one went out with the last patron) I left nothing of value in the room -I was gone too early for the restaurant, but would have liked to have tried it. -cleaning staff are doing their job well. -location is great ( on the Main Street, across from the police station)

Like the location, easy access to all amenities. Friendly staff, food was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

They gave me a single but I booked a double. They turned off the water for a entire day due to some trouble but didn’t even try getting us into another hotel to shower. They gave me 1.5 litres of water. Not enough to flush after the water had been off for 7 hours and I had already bought my own. Didn’t reimburse for the water I bought either. Then the discount was less than 40% of the room even though we had no water for about 9 hours, I didn’t get to shower before my event and no cleaning service or restaurant. Front desk staff had no information nor did the offer any solutions. Other guests I talked to with elderly people in their party were way worse off than I and said they got no help either.

The property was basically what we expected. Beds were relatively comfortable. Room clean. When walking outside down a few units there was what appeared to be blood on the sidewalk. That was a bit disconcerting.

Hotel was a three star as advertised. Had to reposition the AC unit in the wall to stop cold air blowing in. After that the room was fine.

Okay service at the front desk, food at the restaurant was good but closes at 9PM during the week. Water was leaking in my room from the outside door after it rained all night. Location was close by to Clearwater Lake Provincial Park! Wifi worked well.

Upon arrival there was issues. We were willing to over look these for the most part. Took a long time to check in, staff was incredible and apologetic but they had to keep being interrupted by individuals who needed to be asked to leave the premises. Once we got our key the police were called because of fighting in hallways of hotel. My husband being a veteran is uncomfortable around this and we did not feel safe. We returned the key - we were told they completely understood and we had to drive 5 hrs to next hotel.
