"Family and I always love staying at this resort. This last stay was lovely. The grounds and pool areas are well kept and relaxing. Staff is always friendly and I appreciate how hard everyone works.
First room we went into smelled like cat urine and front desk gave us another room which was great. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We did notice something new this time. Management had made requests for us, the guests, to help the housekeeping department. We were essentially asked to do their job. Now, we complied because it wasn’t a burden to us. We took out the garbage, ran the dishwasher and put all the towels in the sink. I drew the line at stripping the bed linens. My point being, if this is overwhelming for the housekeepers, you don’t ask the guests to pick up the slack. Management should hire more staff and pay their employees a decent wage! Makes me hesitant to book this resort in the future. Just a matter of time before they penalize you if you don’t complete these tasks."
