"Check-in was rough. The kiosks weren't working and only one desk was open to handle a crowd of arriving guests. The staff working it were helpful, but it was a mess. The room was a letdown: old, worn furniture, scuffed walls that need repainting, and an extremely small shower. The room itself is also extremely small. The bed fills most of the space and walking through is a challenge. Location is good, but skip the attached restaurant. It wasn't clean and was clearly understaffed. I won't be booking again. There are much better hotels nearby at comparable prices."

"The cups had lipstick on it from previous stay I would assume but other than that it was great, kids were comfortable we were comfortable, we loved it. we will be back again for sure thank you so much for helping make this vacation a great first one for my family and I."

"We were only at the property for one night & did arrive late in the evening, so our experience was limited, however after checking in and getting to our room we discovered that there were no extra sheets or bedding for the pull-out couch. Called the front desk, & they said they would send someone up with some. We waited & waited, finally looked outside the door & found bedding left at the door without anyone knocking to say it was there, only top sheet & a very thin blanket. As I said, it was late when we checked in, around 10pm, so everything was closed which was expected. I went to get some ice out of the freezer & the bin was empty. I called the front desk to ask if there was an ice machine, to be told only the freezer ice & that I needed to switch the ice maker on to get ice. Which meant no ice for the evening for us. We went to get cleaned up for the night & discovered no soap in the soap dispenser, so I thought I'd try the body wash, empty...& the shampoo, empty. Went into the kitchen to wash my hands with dish soap & found the fresh roll of paper towels with a huge wad of black fuzzy lint or something stuck to it. It was really a lot for one evening!!! The next morning, check out at 10 am, at 9:45am as we were gathering our last bit of luggage to leave, someone just knocked on the door & walked in the room. Assumed it was housekeeping, have no idea as they just walked out again. This was not the best experience. Left all this detail with the hotel, no response."

"The Sorrento needs an update and the hotel needs to figure out how to better balance amenities for family versus party crowd."
