It’s all about the roof terrace and pool! It’s an easy 20 to 30 mins walk to most main sites and sea front although there are better located hotels in the same price range and cheaper. Breakfast is a great choice although seating is all inside and feels like a canteen rather than a 4 star hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean and air con good although the decor is dated. The absolute star of the show is the roof terrace and pool and bar. And that’s why we’d choose this hotel again and again. If you want the outside space then this is the hotel for you. Staff up there are super friendly and helpful and really look after you.

Really enjoyed my stay at Capsis The pool area is great , they weekend to be plenty of loungers which is great unlike so many places you have to go early to try to snag one. Pool was large enough not small Pool staff were attentive Everything was great Rooms are a little dated and hotel a little ways away from attractions / waterfront but for the price and a truly great staff all that doesn’t matter to much to me Breakfast also again very good

Fantastic rooftop pool. Rooms are not like the photos though - dark, dingy and in need of repair and a bit of TLC. Maybe we were not lucky enough to stay in one of the showrooms! Super helpful staff and very friendly. Location was ok - a very busy street and a 15 minute walk to Ladadika for its lovely restaurants.

Capsis is close to everything: train station, KTEL bus stn, city centre. The swimming pool is an oasis, except for the constant music. It's open 11:00 - 19:00 Buffet breakfast is fabulous. Staff are friendly & helpful. Room was ok, unfortunately the air conditioning unit dripped water on to plug sockets & showers door was broken. Apart from that it was great.

The hotel is conveniently located at a short distance from the train station. There are local buses nearby that provide service to the airport and to the city center. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. There is an attractive rooftop pool and poolside bar. The breakfasts are outstanding. The hotel management is friendly and attentive. I have stayed here many times and am happy to recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, excellent staff! Positively impressed!

The Hotel is one of the first very good hotels in Thessaloniki. The location is very good. Right next to the train station and to the metro station, and if someone likes walking, the he/she can always walk towards the city center and discover the city! The room was big and very clean! The isolation though is not the best, but it was nothing extreme to be honest, we still had quiet nights and we slept well! The staff was professional, client-oriented and friendly. Swimming pool was nice and i appreciated that there was a lifeguard! Especially the food at the pool bar was delicious! Breakfast was also very good and there was a variety of food to satisfy everyone!

Comfort, clean and a great pool!

The service was exceptional. From the front desk, to the lounge area, the breakfast buffet to the pool. Special thanks to Maci, Vasilis from the restaurant and Dimitri from the pool. Large bathroom and our spacious room was very clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was great. The pool amazing. Well done to all. We will definitely stay at Capsis Hotel again.

Rooftop pool was nice however music was the same playlist everyday. Cleanliness of the room could be better, mattress was super hard. Breakfast was a good with many options. Location handy got public transport via bus. Tea and coffee isn't topped up during your stay, I even asked at reception for extras and wasn't allowed.

Great Value

This is a very large hotel and at times, the pool can get very busy. But we were traveling with my 10 year old son, and having a cool pool to come to after a day of sightseeing was very welcomed. It's about a 15 min walk to the center of the action. It's an older hotel, and the pictures don't accurately reflect its age. It was great value for what we paid. I would recommend this hotel.

Poor wifi. Room had a musty smell. Wifi died again while writing this...acess point full. Hotel good location on busy main street. Elevators very slow...old and creaky.

The hotel was ok. We only spent one night. Clean, well located, pool bar was nice with great view. They have remodeled it, but they need to fire their contractor. Just sub par work. One thing I need to tell everyone is that they pulled a fast one when we arrived. They charged us 10Euros nightly city tax. In Hotels.com it clearly stated that the price includes all taxes and fees. So I feel like they ripped us off.
